We were pleased to welcome the The Lighthouse Charity to our site at Weldale Street, a new-build construction comprising 165 one-, two– and three-bedroom apartments over 10 floors in the heart of Reading.
This event provided a wonderful opportunity for operatives to receive a presentation about the charity’s work specifically for construction industry workers. The #Makeitvisible team then ran an informal “Toolbox Talk” to everyone on site, focusing on the importance of looking after emotional, physical, and financial health and well-being.
Alongside this presentation, the Makeitvisible team set up their tour van, giving the workers a chance to meet with advisers one-on-one and ask any questions they may have.
