Llanarth Court Hospital

This specialist secure new-build mental health facility sits in the historic grounds of Llanarth Court in Abergavenny. The site of this late 18th-century country house provides state-of-the-art care and facilities for its residents including fitness and leisure centre, horticultural craft centre and therapeutic areas.

The gardens, included in the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales, surround the original house and new facility are a “well preserved early 19th century landscaped park” and play an important role in the Priory’s approach to rehabilitation and integration programmes.
