Project Summary
The old Post Office building in Cardiff City Centre was originally constructed in 1897 in the Dutch Revival style. It was granted a Grade II listing in 1975 but had been largely vacant since the 1990s. Attached to the original Post Office building is the smaller scale, but more elaborate, Count Court building.
Our abilities and expertise in managing complex inner-city projects that merge modern construction with historic architecture are highlighted in this refurbishment, renovation, and redevelopment endeavour.
The completed Parkgate Hotel sets new standards for the regional luxury hotel market. It ensures that these landmark buildings maintain their rightful position as some of the best examples of Cardiff’s architectural heritage and history.
